I have a setup that Nosrab made which became redundant when he fitted his turbo. No issues at all, doesn't useany more fuel and makes a wonderful sound. Al I did was connect everything up and reset the ECU

The induction system or high performance intake system like the one from HKS, Apexi, K&N..will be benefit only a turbo charge 6speed Alteza RS200..For the auto tranny RS200Z it is advisable to keep the stock intake system and just change the filter to a high flow K&N filter.

About Six hundred from Redline. And with the cold air box i had made from Performance Metalworks is seems a little more responsive and the aduction noise you get makes it all worth while.

Why is that Grey? There seem to be few KW gain in fitting one to the NA setups.

Greeneyes..Well there some of us in Malaysia that did change the stock intake with a performance intake system from HKS..etc..and the result was loss in low torque..and only gain loud noise.hehehe.
I have ask the tuner from Trial Tuning (J) about these problem and they have advise against the use of such air intake in a AT stock Altezza. The reason is that the ecu need to be retune to adjust to the high intake air flow and the stock ecu cannot be tune. It is only good if you have either installed a piggy back HKS Fcon IS or V pro and you can adjust yr A/F settings. But then again there will be not much significant gain in terms of WBHP.
Those that have tried fixing these intakes have resorted to changing back to the stock intakes.
I was even thinking of buying the K&N Tyhpoon air intake system that guanranteed increase of about 9BHP..as stated in their website.
It works on some cars but not on all cars...hehehe
