just decided i wanted a pod in my rs200 ... and ive readed all the forums on that its on good on the engine and it runs crap and all ...

so today i got a 90 degee bend and then onto a stright pipe and then pod.

and seriously feels like crap ... and im soo piseed of cos i wasted that money for nothing. or if someone could direct me some how to fix this.

Swap the straight pipe to the other end of the curved pipe, so the MAF sensor is furthest from the filter and in a more linear airflow area.

And of course double check that the MAF is installed the right way round (sorry if that sounds patronising).

I think it's because of the small filter you have on the breather pipe..... i tried that but it barely ticked over, i think it needs a bit of vacuum to run right....

can you try and tap a pipe for it onto the main intake....

it runs ... just when i open the throttle the car takes about 3 - 4 secs to relise that i actually stepped on the gas ...

but ill try what you said tonight noel

usually when i am using the stock ecu with the open pod, i'll drive with very slow throttle angle changes throughout the whole rev range for the 1st week or so.... this will allow the ecu enough time to make any fuel and ignition timing adjustments on its own...

my prob is kinda similar.
i think you should punch a hole in the intake after the afm for that hose you have sticking out of the engine breathing to atmospheric preasre.
