The directors of Trial in JP visited Sydney a couple of weeks ago, and looked around all the major tuning shops in sydney. Of course word of mouth got them to make a visit to IS Motor Racing. While visiting the performance/tuning shops, they were scoring their work on previous GTRs. Indy scored the highest points from Trial in regards to his work with GTRs.. it was a unanimous and clear winner. Cooincidently enough Indy's finishing preparation was EXACTLY the same as how TRIAL does their work. Through conversation they quickly found out that they had the same mentor/teacher back in Japan. (This mentor is the guy that designed and invented FCON). -------------------- 2001 IS200 6MT

ISMR will be acquiring the workshop tech and electrical manuals for our cars. They are now also distributors for EXEDY and are the NSW distributors for Recaro -------------------- 2001 IS200 6MT

A bit of an update here, keep an eye out for some of IS Motor Racing's handywork in Autosalon magazine, not to mention Fast Fours as well, who are currently praising his work and negotiating on a matter which i cannot divulge the details of just yet! In other news, Indy was invited to Malaysia by Nissan for one week to view the testing of the GT500 Fairlady (350Z) in January. I have seen some of the video and pictures and heard some of the tales from Indy. Amazing stuff, the GT500 cars use incredible F1 style engineering throughout, be sure to ask him about the trip next time you are down there. -------------------- 2001 IS200 6MT

Dutton Rally 2006 IS Motor Racing contested the Dutton Rally again this year, with Kenny (R171 on these forums) and Dave piloting the ISMR Evo 6.5 to a respectable 15th overall out of the 72 teams competing. Kenny ranked 35th(out of 86), and co driver Dave ranked 5th (out of 72) In their class Kenny ranked 10 out of 17 and Dave ranked 2nd out of 14. They also picked up these two trophies, which are going straight to the pool room:  -------------------- 2001 IS200 6MT

IS Motor Racing have ordered their dyno! More details, including a dyno day, once an installation date is set. Some Altezza Club photo's will also be going up in the workshop in the next month. We are also currently redesigning the ISMR logo to feature our favourite car, with their blessing of course. This will be used on some of our merchandise in the future. --------------------  |
