Hey,

I've just removed the factory air intake and replaced it with a Blitz unit - Its alot louder thats for sure ohmy.gif .

What I'm unsure of is there is a small hose that runs of the throttle body to a small sensor on the bottom of the factory box, due to there being no connection on the new fittings does this mean I can just block it off?? unsure.gif Do I have to remove the sensor off the old box, if so I'll have a hose that has nowhere to go??
Sorry I'm not sure how to post pics so I can't show what I'm on about.

Can anyone please help?

It also seems I have a broken engine mount angry.gif Does anyone know the best place to get one?

Cheers

There's a post about broken engine mounts in the last month or so. Seems to be a rash of them just now..

Phone Gavin at Manukau Toyota and ask him what he can get you one for. Say you're in Altezzaclub...

Then chase a couple of other prices and post them all up here! laugh.gif

cheers

I had to replace both of mine. Here is the thread I started that Greeneyes is referring to Broken engine mount thread. As is mentioned within, the after market ones are more expensive than genuine ones so go for Toyota parts here...

i no this is a very old thread and that you most probably no now but that hose is just a a vacum line to the actuator that controls the extra air intake flap for the RS200 intake box
